This was the shortest domain name I was able to claim after doing months of research in my first year of univeristy. Originally created as just a link shortnener, I have plans to add functionality to the site to help with my everyday tasks which require quick access.
The link shortener takes a long URL and allows it to be shortened into a randomly generated string of a length of choice or a specific combination if it hasn't been taken or reserved.

Though my hobby of attempting to automate as much as possible within my house, I had tasked myself with finding a solution with my lights.

The final solution worked through a system of message translations. The Zigbee Switches I bought would be picked up the the antenna, passed through the Zigbee2MQTT converting software and then sent to Home Assistant, which would perform the tasks required with its configured "automations" setup.

The final result was a system that worked; though unfortunately with the requirement of "calling home" to complete API calls left an avavoidable delay that could only be solved with a new light bulb that likely wouldnt have the level of Google home integration.
