Journey to the top of Mt. Fuji
Mt Fuji, Japan π―π΅
8 September 2025
My main mission when coming to Japan alone was to do as many things that I would never normally do. This included things I would have no change convincing any of my family/friends/srangers to do. Mt Fuji wasn't originally one of the things I considered.
While in Singapore, I celebrated my birthday and decided as a gift to myself to do the spontanious thing and pay the οΏ₯4000 permit fee to enter the Yoshida Trail.

Before making the trip to Japan, I was given a recommendation to viting the 'World Expo'; something I wasn't aware existed until being told about it.
Unfortunately, the extremely hot days that plagued my trips to Nara and Kyoto stuck around with my Expo 2025 trip, and I was sweltering under another 36C day -- this time with even less shade, more crowds and the only air conditioned buildings requiring over an hours wait. Luckily the vending machines scattered around the expo wern't overly inflated - something I noticed all around my Japan trip.

When I arrived at the first main gathering of deer, I found that they were also having troubes dealing with the heat. With both the group of tourists and deer huddling around the small shaded areas of the park, it was an opportunity to get closer than I think I would have been able to
All through Nara, different
After gathering the energy to keep going, I made my way further into the Nara city center, and then through to the forrest of Nara Park - that served as the gateway from the national park to civilization.
My First Full Week Overseas
Singapore πΈπ¬
30 August 2025
Due to a series of very fortunate moments, I was given the chance to spend a week in Singapore
As an Australian, going overseas is not a thing that many people get to do - its not like we can just drive over country borders to be able to experience different food, cultures and sights. So everything during the week was a first for me, and I decided this was the opportunity to do as many things I wouldn't normally as possible.
